History
The Renaissance was the period that most influenced the perception of man and his world, the thought that the man is able to self-determine, to cultivate his gifts and dominate nature spread during this period ; Pico della Mirandola clearly exposed the thought affirming that “man is free and Wsovereign author of himself”. The 4.0 world represents a neo-Renaissance moment where an anthropological vision has brought the central man back into the process. In this historical and social context Aspotech comes to life as a company that aims at the creation of technologies for man, able to detect, enable, strengthen human capacities, and create new models of interaction with the surrounding environment. Founded in 2018 by the fusion of competences and visions of two different realities: WEL, innovative scale-up operating in the world of IOT technologies and Ileana, company with 40 years of history in the production of high performance textile.
